Post your suggestions for a plot here.

List of suggestions:

- Winner of an advertising contest could bring a family member of their character into the roleplay.
- Food Shortages

There are always the traditional plots - natural disaster, sickness, invading pack. But we could also go for some originality, perhaps we have a contest (advertising?) and the winner gets to bring in a family member (temporarily) into the RP?

I think food shortages are a good plot point... it causes other events (traveling further into dangerous areas and other pack's territories, rising tensions between pack members, etc)

I like the plot, but rabies would involve fatal consequences for those who contract the disease. Are some willing to allow that?

Rabies isnt exactly something that's cured in the wild. I would think those who contracted it would have to die - and definately be outcast from the pack so everyone didnt contract it

Addtionally, wolves usually vacant (leave) the pack if they are infected to avoid mass contagion. Rabies is a good idea, nevertheless, but unless I can figure out a way to ideally and realistically portray it in the plot, then for now it will take a backseat. Feel free to suggest potential ways on how to incorporate it, though, and I will attempt to give feedback if needed/ Smile

But rabies could work if members were allowed to switch to another character after their wolf died...

I was thinking what if we brought something like humans into the picture. Hunters or something or humans who hunt the wolves to sell them or something like that...

In a roleplay group I used to be in, we had a plot where humans caught a huntress wolf, put a tracking collar on her, then did something to the prey so that the wolves would become drowsy and sleep. Then the humans came in and took some of the healthiest females, brought them to a reserve, and well, put the beginnings of puppies in them before they woke up. Then the wolves managed to escape and five females suddenly were mothers-to-be. Not sure if that'll work here considering each member is one wolf. In the group we could own several wolves each...

Just a thought.

Another way to do it is to maybe have one kind of prey that the wolves hunt suddenly have a sickness that overcomes them and any wolf that eats it becomes sick and weakened. And that means that there's less prey that's able to be eaten without getting sick. I wouldn't do it to the larger prey-animals unless there was more than one source of large prey, but like a source of food that was common for them to eat, something the wolves eat often enough to satisfy their hunger.

Well, I was thinking that humans take Koa (and possibly her mate lul), to a zoo. The pack Ambassadors and Subordinate Chief have to lead the pack through the forests and dangers. Like Jewel said, the Chiefs will have to get puppies or humans will put the beginnings of the puppies in her, and they will have puppies :3 so well, we all can have a second character for the zoo, and finally, the zoo wolves will escape after the official pack, and run off. It's a cool idea. :3
